Star War's AT-AT Sculpture - Mixed Media
A couple of months ago, my department decided to throw a Star Wars themed party that included a screening of the original Star Wars film, "A New Hope". And we followed up with the remaining five films, one each week, up to the release of the new movie. For that party, however, we talked about doing some different decorations for the office. I decided to take it to the next level and build a large AT-AT out of cardboard.
I wish I had taken more pictures of the build process. It's constructed from mainly cardboard. The base and some of the support, as well as the head/neck connection are wood. Finished with spray paint, sharpies and a bit of neoprene for the neck.
